High School

Welcome to CHS

Countryside High School is a small community day school that, in conjunction with Tulare Youth Service Bureau (TYSB), helps serve the academic and mental health needs of up to forty 9–12th-grade Tulare Joint Union High School District students whose academic performance, attitudes, and behaviors warrant immediate and sometimes intense intervention. The staff is a blended team of education and mental health professionals who work with parents/guardians to provide a coordinated, structured, nurturing, and safe learning environment for all students.

A Message from Our Principal

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Countryside High School! It is truly an honor to serve as your principal and to partner with our dedicated staff, students, families, and community. At Countryside, we are proud to be Wildcats, and we embrace our PBIS values of being Personally Geared, Academically Sound, Well-Rounded, and Socially Aware in all that we do. My philosophy as an educational leader is grounded in the belief that every student deserves an environment where they feel supported, challenged, and inspired. By fostering strong connections, high expectations, and a culture of belonging, we empower our students to reach their goals and prepare for life beyond high school. This year, our staff remains committed to guiding students on their journey toward academic achievement, personal growth, and future success. Together, we will continue to build a school community rooted in positivity, perseverance, and purpose.

Should you have any questions or need support, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to working alongside you to make this an outstanding year for all Wildcats.

Sincerely,

Esteban Casas
